How to Set Up Discord Moderation in 5 Minutes (Free)

Why Every Discord Server Needs Moderation

If your Discord server has more than 50 members, you need automated moderation. Without it, you're one spam raid away from losing your community's trust. Manual moderation doesn't scale — your moderators sleep, bots don't.

Here's what good moderation looks like:

Step 1: Add Omni to Your Server (30 seconds)

Step 3: Set Up Logging (1 minute)

Create a #mod-log channel (or use an existing one), then run:

Step 4: Configure Moderation Commands (1 minute)

Common Moderation Scenarios

Scenario: Spam Raid

A group of accounts joins your server and starts posting spam links in every channel.
